Admission Procedure
- The minimum requirement for admission to B.Ed Degree is 45% of marks (aggregate) at the graduation/post graduation level from Nagaland University or from any other university recognized by Nagaland University. This applies to all categories of students.
- There is no upper age limit.
- Attested copies of all the subjects and the mark list should be attached to the application form.
- Candidates provisionally selected should produce their ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS at the time of interview on the specified date. The admission will be treated as final only after the verification of the necessary original documents by the Principal.
- The following certificates in original have to be produced at the time of Admission:
a. H.S.L.C./ S.S.L.C
b. A Recent Character Certificate from the last Institution attended
c. Degree Certificate/Diploma/Provisional Certificate of B.A./B.Sc./M.A./ M.Sc.
d. Mark List (Complete set of all the years)
e. Community Certificate in case of ST/SC
f. Migration Certificate from the concerned University
g. Eligibility Certificate from Nagaland University for Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from Universities other than the Nagaland University.
- Dates of interview, admissions and other relevant information will be displayed on the College Notice board.
- 10% seats are reserved for the ST/SC/OBC. Preference will be given to eligible candidates from Nagaland.
Choosing of optional Subject for the course
Those students who are in the arts stream will be offered English and Social Science and those who are in the Science stream can take the following subjects.
- Mathematics
- Life Science
- Physical Scienc
A minimum of 85% attendance is mandatory in order to appear for the University Examinations.
